Delete your BookHero account
You can ask us to delete your family account and all the data linked to it at any time.
- Send a request through the contact form, choosing “Privacy or data request”. Use the email address you sign in to BookHero with, and write Delete my account in the message.
- We confirm the request by replying to that address.
- Within 30 days we permanently delete the account and everything in it.
What gets deleted
Your parent account and any co-parent link, all kid profiles, books and book cover photos, reading and play sessions, quiz answers, tokens and streaks, notification settings and device push tokens.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you. Backups that may still contain your data are overwritten within 35 days. Crash reports are kept by our crash-reporting provider for up to 90 days and contain no names or emails.
To remove only a kid profile or a co-parent, use Settings → Family in the app.
