The team behind BookHero.
BookHero is a family reading app that turns reading real books into screen time. It is designed, built and run by Unimedia Technology, a software engineering company based in Castelldefels (Barcelona).
One app, one team, from idea to support.
Why we built it
Screen time is what kids want most, and reading is the habit parents want most. BookHero links the two: kids read a physical book, answer a short quiz about it and earn minutes for their tablet, console or TV. Parents set the rules, so nobody has to argue about it every evening.
Built by Unimedia Technology
BookHero is developed by Unimedia Technology, a software engineering company that builds mobile apps and cloud platforms. The same team designs the app, runs it on Amazon Web Services in the EU and reads every message sent through the contact form.
How we work
We keep the app simple and ask families for as little data as possible. We ship small improvements often and shape them around what parents and kids tell us. If something could work better, the contact form reaches the team directly.
